Welcome back to our monthly blog! As you already know, we are passionate about what we do. Over the last decades, we’ve learnt to appreciate and understand the importance of water in our lives, particularly when it comes to the environmental and societal impacts of mismanaging water. As a leading water supplier based in Ajman distributing water throughout the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, we want to share our expertise with you. For this new edition, we’ll be talking about some important facts about water around the world and what organisations are doing to tackle the challenges related to water.

Here are 5 facts you didn’t know about the water crisis, according to LifeWater:

Some of these facts are truly worrying and climate change is not making things easier. Some parts of the world are suffering dramatically from desertification and some other parts are suffering from severe floods or diseases as a result of the quality of the water. Thankfully, organisations around the world are coming up with solutions such as advanced conservation technologies for the sanitization, the purification, the irrigation and the recycling of water for both agricultural purposes and personal use, as well as actively encouraging partnerships and better governance when it comes to the management and distribution of water, particularly in third-world countries. Some other companies are also trying to reduce their water footprint while others make sure that their waste does not contaminate the water nearby.

Here at Gulfa and as a drinking water supplier operating in the UAE, we are hoping to be part of the solution as we make it our mission to solve these problems by raising awareness on these matters. Aside from being a drinking water company, we are first and foremost a water supplier with a mission to provide clean drinking water to all the households across the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, with a deep respect for nature and a genuine care for the people to whom we deliver water to on a daily basis. As water is a precious commodity, we encourage everyone at home as well as other drinking water companies in the region to be mindful of their water usage at home as well as throughout their business activities.
